Smallpiece was started in 2024 when a normal student became fed up with his course syllabus and its non-useful nature in daily life.
He identified three core issues in our education system:
1. Randomness of Content
More often than not, our textbooks seem like a random collection of informational blocks with zero effort to explain the interconnectedness between various topics.

2. Third Person’s View
The content appears as if we are reading a third person’s compilation leaving no room for curious conversations between a teacher & a student.

3. Lack of Visual Learning
The educational system places heavy emphasis on descriptive learning and is yet to properly utilize the power of visual graphics that provide what we call the first imagination to the students.

And, how do we aim to solve it?
1. Curating a Series or, Sequence of Topics
We try to break down knowledge of fundamental subjects into small topics and curate them into a series of snippets which introduce the relevant concepts in a sequential manner.

2. Conversational Tone
Each snippet is imagined & written as a small discussion (10-15 minutes long) between the reader and the author; a Third Person’s Lens is avoided if not required.

3. Graphic Companions
The content in every discussion is accompanied by various explanatory graphics that help provide a ‘First image-ination‘ that can be easily committed to memory.
